Jules Cavanagh
These Asian Fusion Samurai fries cooked in the air fryer are perfectly crispy, smothered in Kewpie Mayo, sprinkled with crispy fried shallots, salt and scallions. Caution: they are incredibly addictive!

Equipment

  • 1 Airfryer

Ingredients

  • 500 g frozen shoestring fries
  • Kewpie mayo
  • 2 Spring onions thinly diagonally sliced
  • 20 g Fried shallots
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Cook your fries following the packet instructions using your favourite method.
  • I love to cook mine in the airfryer baskets on 200 for 12 minutes, pausing halfway to give the fries a good shake up.
  • Once cooked, place in your chosen dish, sprinkle with salt, squeeze generous drizzles of Kewpie mayo all over the fries then finish off with an even scattering of spring onions and crispy fried shallots.

Notes

If you can't source fried shallots at the supermarket, you can find them at Asian food stores.
